Long time no hear :-)

...Was in feinstem Singlish so viel heisst, wie 'Lang ists her'...seit ich meinen letzten "richtigen" Blogpost geschrieben habe. Die Bilder- und Short-Message Services, wie Twitter, Instagram und Pinterest verleiten einen einfach immer mehr dazu, keine grossen Reden zu schwingen, sondern die Bilder bzw. Hashtags sprechen zu lassen. ABER ich werde mal ab jetzt wieder ein bisschen mehr Content produzieren, und zwar hier. Hope you enjoy :-) ZRH.

W Hotel South Beach Miami

We stayed in the beautiful W hotel in South Beach. Thanks to Robert's Platinum benefits we stayed in an awesome Oasis Suite with beautiful beach views. The service was great throughout our whole stay, especially the concierge was so helpful with clubs and restaurants. We spent most of our time at the beautiful WET pool area with great music and summery drinks :-)

Wynwood Art District - Miami Part 3

Wynwood Art District - the perfect place to stroll around and admire the beautiful street art and graffiti murals. It's often worth to take a second look at small side streets as the most beautiful walls are not always visible from the main street. 

We had some delicious snacks in the Wynwood Kitchen and Bar, another great tip I found using the "recommendations around me" feature on foursquare, this time from Louis Vuitton: 

"An overall hip place to stop by for some art, drinks, or great food. This truly space mixes flavors, culture, and art. Try the bacon wrapped dates and check out the wide selection of beers."  

I didn't try the dates however the garlic prawns in coconut milk were amazing!! We also got some free Pico Verde with homemade Tortilla chips, which was delicious as well. The perfect place for a relaxed afternoon!

Welcome to Miami

Miami - our first stop on our 26-day roadtrip through the US. Except for New York I've never been in America, I was always more attracted by travel destinations in Asia. Since we were invited to an Austrian wedding in Las Vegas we thought this is just the right time to explore some other places in this huge country.
